Tom Hanks‘ solely daughter is sharing uncommon perception into her childhood.
E.A. Hanks (quick for Elizabeth Anne Hanks) accused her late mom—the Oscar winner’s ex-wife Susan Dillingham, who glided by the stage title Samantha Lewes—of abuse following the couple’s divorce within the ‘80s.
Based on the 42-year-old, the mistreatment allegedly began after Susan obtained main custody of her and brother Colin Hanks, now 47, and abruptly moved them from Los Angeles to Sacramento, Calif. She mentioned the relocation caught Tom abruptly.
“My dad got here to choose us up from faculty and we’re not there,” E.A. wrote in an excerpt from her e-book The ten: A Memoir of Household and the Open Street, printed by Individuals. “And it seems we have not been there for 2 weeks and he has to trace us down.”
